Shrinidhi is a Biology and Environmental Science teacher at Sahyadri School. He believes; the role of a teacher is to create an enabling environment in the classroom that is conducive to independent as well as group learning. For that to happen, the school needs to create such an environment for the teacher where he has the freedom to explore what education is about and engage in learning on their own and from others. Knowing the curriculum is not enough. A teacher should be able to analyze it critically and redesign it in a way that is meaningful to the students.
He feels that Sahyadri is a place where he can learn from others, reflect, and think about what he should be doing in the classroom. The small class sizes and the lesser number of lectures help her to focus on the quality of classes and the interactions with students.
As a part of K-group discussions she has also had the opportunity to think about the meaning of the words authority, comparison, and competition, and contextualize it
